The
Fly Racing Enduro Jacket is one of the rare pearls of moto fashion that
performs as great as it looks. The Enduro is a highly functional piece
of gear that is versatile, durable and absolutely
bulletproof. My favorite feature of the Fly Enduro Jacket is, frankly, the way that it looks. The "rider cut" fit is stellar (finally a euro-cut jacket for riders whose shoulders are wider than their waist). The Enduro is comfortable, moves very well with the torso, and features a wonderfully versatile flow-through ventilation system. The jacket is longer in the back for coverage while seated. All zippers are waterproof and covered by storm flaps. The sleeves zip off to convert the jacket to a very useful vest. There are numerous strategically placed pockets and all are easy to get in and out of (including a well-placed cell phone pocket). The mesh liner is plush and the neck is lined with soft material to reduce chafing. When fully zipped and snugged up the jacket is quite windproof while retaining excellent breathablity. My Fly Enduro has kept me from freezing in the Mojave, kept me dry on the Tour of Idaho and in high fashion at Starbucks. It is one of the most versatile garments I have ever owned. Sometimes I even slip on a back protector and CE armor and use it as a street jacket. Unfortunately the Enduro does not appear in Fly Racing's 2009 catalog. It's available all over the web at around $100 dollars. You need to get yourself one of these while you still can. |
