So I decided to go for a ride on my manly purple cruiser last weekend and of course the battery was dead. She is a cold-blooded beast so full choke and many tries later I gave up and hooked the battery to the charger in disgust. I managed to get the battery to hold a charge, but still she is not firing up.
Pulled the spark plugs and they were fouled and smelled strongly of fuel leading me to think that my issue is now related to flooding. It is getting fuel okay, so should I focus on the spark? Is it normal for the bike to still be flooded a day later? I will throw some new plugs in today and hope for the best, but can you think of anything else I should check? Any advice on how to check the vacuum line to make sure it is getting air?

How long has the gas been in the tank? How much is in the tank? Your bike is stored outside, yes?
I'd consider the following issues in order: Choke setting, fuel.
On cold days a malfunctioning choke will make the bike basically impossible to start (too much is as bad as too little). If your bike has been sitting for a while with half a tank of fuel outside in the cold you might want to drain and replace with fresh. Try a bit of starting fluid sprayed into the carb intake as well.

Thanks for the good advice bro but I didn't need it after all. I picked up some plugs on the way home from Mocha and switched them out (remember what a pain that front cylinder is to get into?!?!) and she started right up. Took her for a little spin and tried to contain my whoops and yeehaws.
